Introduction

The department of Electrical Engineering UCM Department aims to provide highly skilled professionals to cope with the demands of the ever-growing Telecommunication sector in the country. The Department has laboratories well-equipped with the state of art equipment mostly from the National Instruments (NI) Corporation of USA, with the aim to enable the students to simulate and implement solutions.

The vision of the department is not only to embrace the rapid changes taking place in the Electrical Engineering sector but also to contribute to it through research and innovation.

Mission

To prepare individuals capable of responding to the rapidly changing field of Engineering and technology. The telecom and power industry has witnessed unprecedented growth in recent years and it is still growing. It is imperative that our students develop the necessary expertise to grasp this change. Pakistan has gained a very important geo-economic position in the region recently owing to CPEC. Technical personnel especially in the Electrical sector will be in high demand in near future. To meet the challenges, special attention will be given to engineering education.
